Weathernews是由经历过海难事故的石桥博良先生，为了守护船员的生命而创立的。 一直以来，Weathernews致力于把气象信息及对策，及时高效地提供给有需求的客户。
源于航海气象，扩展到如今的海，陆，空全球市场，Weathernews一直秉承初衷“紧急时刻，施以援手”，为全球约50多个国家和客户，提供着全天候的气象风险咨询服务。
近几年，随着全球气候的变化，强台风（飓风和气旋）、以及暴雨洪水等灾害不断增加，针对气象灾害的预警措施和应对方案已经成为重要的课题。
为了切实了解各国各行业的气象风险和需求，Weathernews自主研发了气象观测系统，用于实时掌握发生于全球各地的气象和地象现象。同时组建专业的团队，和当地的人们一起，把真正有用的气象服务提供给全世界的每一个人。
